Sawt el-Amel/The Laborer's Voice is an independent grassroots organization founded by Palestinian Arab workers in Nazareth in 2000, in order to defend and promote the rights of Arab citizens in Israel to decent work and social security. In order to reach its objectives, Sawt el-Amel takes legal action, facilitates grassroots activism, educates the public, networks and conducts advocacy. The organization works on local, national and international levels.
